The Samuel Palmer (formerly Ye Old George) reopened in April 2022 after a year of so of being closed. Have yet to visit in it's new incarnation, but pub is stated to be dog friendly (dogs allowed in the bar and terrace). Has a new terrace/courtyard. Fireplaces (with real fires in winter). Building dates from the 15th century, and is named for Samuel Palmer, an important landscape painter from the 19th century who lived in Shoreham.
