Words of Wisdom?
“Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather”

By road:  Follow the A25 east from Sevenoaks and through Seal.  When you reach a left hand bend on a dual carriageway just over a mile from Seal, turn right onto Coach Road.  Follow this to Ivy Hatch.  Ignore Stone Street Road which joins from behind on your right then Ismays Road which joins from behind on your left.  Take the right fork a bit farther on.  There should be a signpost indicating Ightham Mote at this fork.  The entrance to the Mote is on the left after about a half mile.

Note: Parking costs £2, but free for National Trust members (provided your membership sticker is displayed).
